Remarks on the Photography
As you know, there are certain constraints in posting images on the internet. The main problem is how long people are willing to wait to have a picture show up in their browser window.

The following pictures were wonderful shots and I've tried to find a happy medium of converting them so they don't lose too much quality but also so that they'll download for you sometime before next month. Some patience may be required.

My apologies to the photographers for I'm sure it will seem like slaughtering their fine work in any case.

The color pictures you'll see were shot by Peter Schweitzer who has shot my work for many years and continues to do great work. When the costumes were first finished and we needed publicity pictures, Peter came down from Boston and recorded everything.

The black and white shots were done by Tom Brazil who shoots a lot here in New York. You'll see his fine work in many dance publications. Tom recorded our dress rehearsal the afternoon of the opening.

Because of union constraints and rules of the theater, I don't have any photography from the production in Italy which happened about a month later.

The pictures are in the order of the ballet's chronology. Enjoy the show…
